what is tangyuan ?
tangyuan is a traditional chinese sweet soup usually served at festivals or chinese new year and winter solstice aka " dong zhi" , which usually falls on the 21st or 22nd of december. the round and sticky dumpling balls symbolise family closeness and togetherness .
